Our front screened in piazza is a favorite room in the summer. This was my maternal grandparents' home. I spent many a summer night as a child sitting here with them, playing Parcheesi and watching the few cars go by. It's much busier now, but just as enjoyable with T and Merry as constant companions. It's Merry's new favorite room, excellent for bird watching.


We had our lunch out there today and perhaps dinner if it's warm enough. My grandmother picked this house in 1928 because of this piazza, and I'm so very glad. 

The sign has a heart, with Hope printed in the middle, facing the street and corner(Dogcorner). It's a very popular local sign appearing on lots of homes along with rainbows and so many hearts and thank you signs.
