Tea by the river again

I got up and went for a run before breakfast. The weather has warmed up again so after lunch, Ben got Penny’s old bike out of the shed and pumped her tyres and raised her seat. It’s still a little too small for her. Bibi, Penny and I then cycled to Hampton Court and took a flask of tea and a packet of Jaffa Cakes with us. It was busy at Hampton Court but we managed to get a spot by the river with not many people around us. Bushy Park was also pretty crowded. We got home around 4.30pm and Ben, Bibi and I played scrabble before dinner. Bibi and Penny then cooked dinner before we had a family quiz with the Jones’s. This time, Non and Josh had written all the questions.
