Broad-winged Hawk

This is our own personal broad-winged hawk. Every year it flies to Costa Rica or maybe even Ecuador or - anyway - south - in September and then reappears here in April or so. Maybe even late March. We've seen him perching in a tree at the end of our driveway on occasion. Once a couple of years ago I got a good close view/shot of him sitting on the fence across the road. Today, however, he was waaaaaaaay up in the sky - circling and calling. Heavily cropped. Original in extras.
