En el teatro, qué poco susto

I heard in December that the Almeida was putting on a stage version of The Turn of the Screw. When I got round to booking tickets, weekend shows were gone. I knew that a Wed night might not work all that well for us but went ahead anyway, relishing the promise that it would frighten the daylights out of me.

It didn't. Too flat for my liking.
