La Bella, Rwanda.

A storm coming.

I find myself back in Congo - or today, across the border for a spoiling weekend.

Lured back by a great gig on stabilisation: technically interesting, no management, well paid, and allows Ul and I to leave together on the 30th November. Not understanding what stabilisation means is not really a problem: it's one of those ephemeral terms that people have decided (and different) views about because we all kind of vaguely understand the word and can therefore hold long amicable conversations at cross purposes and achieve nothing. Unfortunately in Congo this means quite a long of money has been not very well spent. . .

It's not been an entirely restful 2 months since I left Congo, with all but about 8 day's working. But it's been great to have two months of sleep, a full fridge, country walks and friends - even if somewhat odd to move back in with long-suffering parents. Very pleased to be back, if only to make sure that Ul leaves. There was a wavering down the phone lines.
