Seen it all before
Crawley’s parish church of St. John the Baptist has been in existence since the thirteenth century, and the present building still contains part of the original architecture.
I wonder how many emergencies of all kinds have happened during its history, and what new ones might happen in the future.
Still it stands in the town centre, its doors shut for now but with luck re-opening before too long.
