our local city council has huge grassed areas around the city to regularly trim, and has hit on a cost cutting scheme that is proving very popular. in the spring after an initial mowing, they seed huge areas with English Meadow Wild Flower seeds, and this particular flower is the first one to appear over a foot high en masse throughout the city
