Mono Monday: Low Key
Thank you, Carolina, for today's challenge... (Low Key - that's ME!)
We ventured out in the cool of the evening to do the recycling choosing Burj Al Arab Beach so we could have a drive and see the sunset. G wanted to go to the Water Canal and have a walk along it, but plans changed when she heard of the radio (while I was doing the recycling) that she is legally allowed to be out now, as long as she doesn't visit a Mall or a supermarket.
She decided at the same time, that it is theoretically possible to have a BBQ on a dune, so we headed across to the other side of town to see if anyone else had the same idea. We found our spot and it was totally deserted. Perfect. Maybe we'll have a go on Friday. We came home via Zabeel Park's jogging track and watched the TV movie The Scarlet Pimpernel after dinner. I've only seen that movie once before - when it came out in the early '80s. It was entertaining!
Earlier, G's workday was short and sweet giving us time to record a small clip for AWANA's end of year video. I had to go down to the car to bring the tripod up. It didn't take long to set up and recording took less than thirty minutes - I think we did five takes for a 60-second clip.
PS. There's me in the extra!
