Nosey Cow!
Today we replicated a walk we did the day before lockdown, 8 weeks ago. As we could now drive to exercise it meant we could start our walk a little further out into the countryside.
We parked near Trentham Gardens, my old haunt pre Covid-19 restrictions. We walked sections of the Trent and Mersey Canal, through Barlaston village to Downs Banks. As we walked over Tittensor Chase we encountered a field of frisky heifers. One of which is pictured here. I was glad they were in another field, as they were extremely inquisitive.
The final leg of the walk was up to the monument, giving you great views of Trentham Gardens and the lake, as well as into The Peak District. And then finally walking through Kings Woods, part of the Trentham Estate, which has always been open and accessible throughout the lockdown.
The extra is of Wedgwoods Bridge near the Wedgwood Factory.
A good 5 hours with plenty of variety and perfect weather for walking.
