The Birds

Had to cross the bridge over to Bangor on the mainland today, lots of things to pick up and trawling round shops, plenty of ideas but bought nothing, yet! Bought an assortment of seed potatoes to be planted late February, early March depending on weather (& warmth!). Ordered more coal and logs, many people talking of more snow so bit of preparation just in case. It was between 6 and 8 degrees whilst I was out on my travels but felt very cold because the wind is still quite strong.

At 4pm the sky turned very dark, lots of birds collected in a tree for no apparent reason, except to be blipped! A few minutes later we had a very heavy hail shower, which ended as soon as it had started.
