My hands are delighted that today woodwork has been supplanted by admin: prodding the solicitor (metaphorically, of course, though as I re-correct the same mistakes as he made last week and he shrugs off inaccuracies in the address of the place I want to buy, I increasingly feel like I'd prefer it to be a woodwork not a metaphorical goad); talking with insurers; trying to contact Covid-19-depleted utility companies; and discovering that, rather quaintly, you need paper, envelope and a stamp to change the name on a digital TV licence.
I found an envelope, I found a stamp, and I found this bit of sun-drawing opposite the letter-box.
Moving is one day nearer because that's the nature of time, but I still don't know when it will be.
