Grey ol day

Slept ok, but was awake early....actually went downstairs and made a cuppa, then took it back to bed for a while.

We had a few things to do today, a parcel to the post office, a few toiletires from Home Bargains, Bakery, Newsagents and then on to Lidl..........most people were well behaved, a few masks, I used mine in the busier shops....makes my glasses steam up lol!!

Lunch was a turkey sandwich.....a mid afternoon coffee in the summerhouse. Some reading, I finished the first of my trilogy, 1079 pages.

Pretty miserable day weatherwise. its gradually got darker and darker as the day has gone on, this was tsken on our evening walk around 6.30pm! It was chilly, had proper coats on!! Supposed to hot up over the next couple of days, thank goodness!

We had chicken, salad and jacket potato for dinner tonight, straight forward plain, but really enjoyed it.

We watched tv and caught up on a couple of things......pretty uneventful day all round really.
