Second-time-around

Evening light

This is the view from Alldays field, an area near Fowey that was given to the people of Fowey by a businessman eons ago.  You can see the Fowey Daymark almost centre back in the image. I liked the way the light fell on the fields and bushes - reminded me of paintings by David Inshaw.

I've been keen to come back here but it took till today because the National Trust (still taking membership money although it closed everything) kept the car park (the only way to access this area) closed.  I never understood why they closed it - unmanned, having an honesty box and a five barred gate to close it! Nothing there that could be vandalised and never supervised by NT staff. What harm would it have done letting locals access this area all through the lockdown?  It's a place that's never crowded or busy even on Bank Holidays.
