Yellow van man

One of our neighbours was out pruning this afternoon, and I liked the way his yellow van stood out against the dark background. There are lots of yellow vans here -- ex post office, sold off cheap.

It might not look like it here, but it was a beautiful day today. We sat outside in the square to drink our morning coffee for the first time this year. The air was balmy, and there was no wind. The clouds here are much further west, billowing over the Pyrenees -- though apparently not where Tickytocky was :) Looking back at the village from where I took this photo gave a completely different impression -- blue sky, and almond trees sprinkled with blossom.

I'm sure the winter is not over yet, though -- February is normally the worst month of the year, weather-wise.
