Baufritz still reckons with GB in Europe

(NB After posting this saw on the German website that Baufritz is looking for carpenters & cabinet makers for assembly & installation of houses in the UK. Knowledge of English is not a must, as language courses will be given, so Nigel & fellow Mancunians, this could be an opening!)

Two years ago I Bliped this view of the Baufritz visitor centre & "home tailor" where they present new ideas for interiors, hence the houses on their roofs on the left of the photo.  The middle house is now being rebuilt but this time the right way up. They are also present in the UK with an office in Cambridge.

They are a very innovative company in the field of ecologically friendly timber houses but not of the "log cabin" type but very modern designs but as the "home tailor" implies much of their work is in custom building. They are probably Germany's leading company in this segment.

One day I will get around to going to their annual open day weekend to get a closer look. As a potential customer this is always possible but my bank a/c doesn't look like I will be in this category at any time in the future. Perhaps I can Blip their production facilities soon as they are mainly behind glass which one can see from the street.
