Photographs

My colleague, Linda, had been telling me about a lovely little family photo album she has which had been passed down through her family so she brought it in today. It is truly a little gem and Linda is obviously from good stock. The album is leather bound with gold leaf edging on the pages. The people in the photos are wearing perfect clothes and look well off. Fascinating.

In the afternoon we all went to the say farewell to Brod, the husband of another colleague, Bernie. Brod died with covid19 and had spent a while in hospital on a ventilator. We wanted to support Bernie but obviously only allowed to stand outside at a distance due to current restrictions. Bernie was blowing us all kisses from the funeral car. So sad to watch a broken woman so grieved though. Life is cruel.
