Shades Of Green

Tuesday. A very early start today gives reality to the old saying that "an hour in the morning is worth two in the afternoon".

It rained quite a lot during the night. Everything was fresh and green.

Today is Sainsbury’s Delivery Day with a "green" delivery scheduled for this afternoon. He duly arrived to the minute promised. He is on back shift with few deliveries, but a long run to Kinross.

Today’s Blipfoto is various shades of green, focusing on a field track. Today I picked some purple lilac today. This is the year of lilac. See the second extra.

The third picture is the view from our guest room writing desk.
The floor level is 7 metres above ground level. We can look down on shrubs and trees and also look up to tree tops. Quite a view.

The outside diamond framed window has never been washed in 180 years. We did an experiment. We did wash one window and the dust quickly built up to match the same level of the other windows.

Cleaning them is a waste of time and effort. The inner windows are opened up each spring and everything is cleaned inside the gaps and the inner glass.
