Just another ordinary day #2
It's been a quiet, well-paced day!
Zoom chat with Diane in the morning; then lunch and then I have no idea where the time went; in between helping G order a book from Amazon UK which needed to get to its destination by tomorrow and then getting sucked into checking out the benefits of Amazon Prime (UK version), it was evening before you knew it.
I look out the window and could see the sky was blue. A clear day. The one thing that Coronavirus has had a positive impact on is the environment, though, watching the news later about the unemployment figures/state of the world economies, it could get you really down if you weren't careful.
We went out later to where the Volvo is. I wanted to deliver a Lavalier mic I got for Robert and Glenis for their online services and we finally got round to disconnecting the Volvo battery. There's two in the car, so we brought them both back with us.
The biggest news of the day though is that our curfew sanitisation hours have been increased again starting tomorrow (Wednesday, 20th May). So, today was the last chance to be out until 10 pm in the evening. It's home by 8 again. "The actions of a few reckless people," one newspaper article said. The fines have increased too, exponentially. Argh.
And the other big news of the day is the passing away of Ravi Zacharias, the renowned Christian apologist from sarcoma. G & I got to see him live last year in Abu Dhabi.
