A garden to envy

We are allowed to meet another person in a public space as long as we ‘socially distance’. Sophie lives in the middle of a big park and her garden is huge with a footpath through it so I took my lunch and ate it in her garden admiring the way the plants have grown around the sleeper steps Jeremy put in last year, but most of all the amazing Gaudiesque mosaic seat they lead to. It’s absolutely stunning and has taken a phenomenal amount of work. More to come with some close ups I hope. In other news, we harvested our first courgette today and had it for dinner lightly sautéed in butter. Delicious.
