Onwards and Upwards

Day 1 of the staircase challenge. The staircase was delivered part assembled; the 2 flights being the pre assembled pieces. We are to assemble the half turn landing containing one step, and the handrails. And instal it as a whole in position. The photo shows a dry run of the lower flight and the landing. What it doesn't show is the discovery that it's impossible to slot in the upper flight. This is due to the fact that when the staircase was made in the factory, it was assembled without any enclosing walls, which we have onsite.
Day 2 will be making necessary adjustments.....
