Today is 4 weeks post c-section and my body is finally looking and feeling almost like it did pre-pregnancy. Being someone for whom fitness is extremely important, I was really worried that a twin pregnancy would destroy my body and it would never be the same. While pregnancy was physically hard for me-the recovery has been quick, and today I felt great doing a real workout for the first time in ages, and wearing non maternity workout pants!! I know whatever changes to my body that are permanent are totally worth it, but I'm also glad to be feeling like the old me again physically.
