Watch Your Step

I "stumbled upon" this tiny thing when I was in the backyard.  All of a sudden, I felt as if I stepped on a nail. I limped to the patio and took off my shoe.  That's when I saw something jammed into the sole (yes, the soles are purple). This is one-quarter of what I eventually yanked out and the tiny hole it left in the sole of my sneaker. Not the prettiest of pictures but, hey, it really hurt  :(

I did get out and accomplish a few things.  I don't mind windy days but I do need to remind myself to stay upwind when I'm using the hose. Just sayin' cuz...

               You don't tug on superman's cape
           You don't spit into the wind
      You don't pull the mask off that old lone ranger
 And you don't mess around with Jim.
