Colour on a Dull Day

Very dull, wet and miserable here today, so no chance to get out for a blip. It was a toss up between these lovely flowers, received for my birthday or a couple of good books I got as presents. The books will still be here for a while, so may be used in an emergency blip some time, but the flowers brightened up my day today.

The Christmas tree is no more! My husband decided (unilaterally) that it was shedding too many needles over the patio, so chopped it up into little pieces to be recycled. He's now having to make amends by cooking the tea:)
