Humdrum

Have had a bit of a ‘meh’ day, just tootling about after an early (for me) zoom call with some of my pals from church. I’m trying to cut down on biscuits during the week, which I’m finding so difficult today! I have to make myself really nice coffee as a distraction. :)

On Monday this week I had the novel experience of shopping in Marks and Spencer’s and there was no queue! That was only the second time I’ve been to M&S in the 10 weeks of ‘lockdown’, so I was pleasantly surprised. I bought myself a bunch of peonies - my absolute favourite flower - so here is a photo of one of them all opened out.

They’re really gorgeous and definitely enough to elevate my day. :)
