LOCK DOWN – DAY 58

Today has been mostly about chillaxing in the sunshine on the balcony.

It got so hot at lunchtime that Ann had to come in and have a little lie down in her bedroom.

Also Wednesday is the day that I get left 'home alone' while my human goes off to 'Aldi' to do Mrs Rs shop. 'Aldi' is still Ann's favourite shop because there's never any queues there. As she drove past 'Tesco' the queues were right around the car park as usual. Unfortunately today she couldn't get everything on Mrs R's list. No tinned prunes, no veg or ham stock cubes Ann didn't even know ham stock cubes existed, no non bio laundry detergent. So Ann dropped the stuff off at Mrs Rs and said she'd pop into our little local Sainsbury's to see if she could pick these things up. She managed to get everything apart from the ham stock cubes. Ham stock cubes???? Apparently Mrs R uses them to make lentil soup?!!

Anyway for my afternoon walk I trekked through Braidburn Valley Park & Colinton Mains Park to deliver Mrs Rs extra shopping. And then I trekked all the way back. After yesterday's mammoth walk Ann said we were going to take it easy today. An hour and a half later we were back on the balcony. And my human held off from having a glass of wine until about 5.30pm even though 4pm has become the new 6pm. Lol!!!

See you all tomorrow.
