The first tomato!!!

A very hot day........! I started working in the garden, but that got uncomfortably so I headed indoors to sew, but that didn’t last long and I ended in B’s study working on the computer. The coolest room in the house. He was busy outside doing dirty work, so I knew that I wouldn’t be disturbed!!

It’s interesting to see our first tomato. Considering that this time last year I’d never attempted to grow any and only did so when my terminally ill friend gave me the plug plants that she got from her gardening magazine. They were successful so I thought that I’d give it a go this year.
