Wildlife safari

It was a lovely, warm, sunny day and a good one for spotting a variety of wildlife. While out for a walk I spotted this lovely hairy caterpillar. I looked it up when I got home and discovered that it is the caterpillar of a Garden Tiger Moth and is commonly called a woolly bear.

Also today, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph a frog and one of the multitude of bees feasting on the flowers in our garden. It was like a mini wildlife safari!
