:Lettuce

Some of the fancy lettuces available in our fruit and veg. shops still have roots attached. I've used the tops as per usual in meals but cut the bases
including roots and a bit of green, then planted them in a pot. Here they
are a short time later with fresh foliage so I'm feeling chuffed that I can
just pick a few leaves to go on a sandwich as I need them.
I suspect I'm having a senior moment = did I already post this before or just intend to?   This lockdown period is having an effect! lol
