Distant grill

My neighbour invited the closest living friends to a grill afternoon in the sun. More or less distance keeping made it a very pleasant few hours.

The rest of the day has been spent in solitude. Playing, weeding, computing and, mainly washing clothes in the perfect weather. The extra is a hint on the conditions. 

Today is also the traditional day for the "Gökotta", a Swedish expression for getting up with the sun to listen to the Cuckoo (Gök=Cuckoo, Otta=early). The Ascension day is considered to be the first day of the Cuckoo and the Nightingale. In this area those birds has been here a couple of weeks already but this day has of old been the day for an early picnic in the forest to listen to the birds and to enjoy everything getting green, new and fresh.
