I missed the hatching

A glorious summer day meant some of the dragonfly nymphs decided it was time to emerge from the pond and transform themselves into flying machines.  Well I failed to see it happen but these cases are what they left attached to reeds up which they had climbed out of the water.  I will try to be a bit more on the ball tomorrow.
