Male Salticus scenicus (type of jumping spider)

Our resident Great Tits are nesting in one of our apple trees and I was checking It out this evening to see whether it was worth doing a bit of a stake out in the morning and catch some shots of the birds arriving or leaving theIr hole in the tree home.

Scuttling along a neighbouring tree was this very zippy and hard to capture spider.
