The Night of the Rabid Frogs

We haven't seen much of the frogs this year. There was no sign of the females in the early spring and no frogspawn as a result. Two males croaked forlornly each night throughout April, but it was only yesterday that I saw the first female frog in the garden.

This evening I was running the hose into the pond and it seems to have created some foam - perhaps some contaminant had got into the water. At least this frog seemed keen to put it to good use.
