Had a little energy for gardening today, meaning I deadheaded some roses and pulled weeds within about a two foot radius of my garden bench. I leave an interesting swath as I move around the yard. Our new helper came and worked on the paths some more, and it’s finally getting to look civilized back there. He is a wonderful worker, says it’s his years of experience working in kitchens that give him an appreciation for detail. 

So, a little weeding, a little knitting, some PT exercises, I think there was a little nap in there somewhere, and it’s happy hour already.

I heard of an interesting Covid side effect—some companies that are looking to put people to work cannot find staff: folks are getting more in unemployment than they can make on the job! I’m not sure how that works, but guys are saying wait a few months boss, then I can come back.
