Sunrise at Waikuku Beach

An amazing morning at the beach with Blipper flying .  Much warmer than it has been, NW and with a cloud cover, which made the sunrise stunning in every direction. The water, the sky all beautifully coloured. Not a lot of birds on our side of the estuary, but a lot over the river. They're in for a shock tomorrow morning when the duck shooting starts.

As we headed back we saw a beautiful white heron in flight.
