Wet Rose

So I was chatting to my neighbour yesterday evening. She was watering her hanging baskets. I said we hadn't done any watering, she said well it's not as though we're going to get any rain for a good while yet.

Ha! I was lying awake at midnight, unable to get to sleep, due to the constant pitter-patter of rain on the leaves outside our open window. I finally nodded off but was awoken at 6.30 with the sound of steady heavier rain. I think it had been raining all night.
