That Southern Pacific diesel is about to back up and drop off a couple of hoppers at O.L. King’s coal yard. (“No fuel like an old fuel”)
Funny how so many train guys are into corny puns. Several layouts have good names:
The Gorre & Daphetid (pronounce Gory & Defeated) through the Akenback Mountains.
The Broak & Kantifordit.
Wassup Docks
And so on and so forth.
Not much of an outside sort of a day, it’s currently blowing a right hoolie with near horizontal rain. We have been out for a walk and managed to miss a soaking but might not be so fortunate later. Hope you all have a good, safe, dry weekend!
