Danksound's Musing

All Souls

This church is in Langham Place at the top end of Regent Street not far from BBC Broadcasting House!! All Souls was designed and built in the early 1820s by John Nash, a Regency period architect who laid out Regent's Street, Regent's Park and other areas of London. The church, with its circular tower, sharply pointed steeple and warehouse-like church building, was mocked and satirised when it was first built.

I once tripped on the steps around this church and sprained my ankle before attending a radio show at Broadcasting House!! I hobbled home afterwards on on public transport with a big fat ankle!!

It's almost the weekend and turning cold again brrr!!
