Finally

Two clematis have opened. the one on the left has never done much as  I think the roots of the tree must be killing it but not sure?I
The other one does quite well.
As I looked out the kitchen window this morning I spotted a starling hacking  away at it then flying off with leaves in its beak.
That happened twice.I've never ever seen that before so googled it.
Apparently blue tits do the same.
It's been a lovely day.I needed to go to the Bank so stood in a queue.
Bought some more plants then walked  home.
