Day 30 of 365 - The centre of it all!

Welcome to day 30 of 365.

After dropping my Boss off at the Airport I found today's shot on the way back to the office.

The image is of a Wayside post that stands on the Village Green in Meriden. The post marks the Centre of England.

The inscription reads:
This Ancient Wayside Cross has stood in the Village for some 500 years and by tradition it marks the CENTRE OF ENGLAND. The cross was rebuilt on this site when the Green was improved in celebration of the festival of Britain.
A.D 1951

As always the shot was taken using my iPhone 5. I used Pro HDR to take the picture. The photo was then cropped and edited using Snapseed to improve the clarity a little. I finally used my Old Faithful App called ShockMyPic to boost the depth of the image.
