A little windswept

What a dull day ..... very windy when I went out this morning so while the rain stayed away I made one circuit of the loch. It was just so grey after the sunny days earlier in the week.

The goslings are now too big to hide under mum's wings so they had to make their own huddle. The heron just stood in his own huddle with his back to the wind giving him a rather ruffled look.

Just as I left the Heritage Park and made my way back to my car the rain started .... that horrible, stinging rain that soaks through clothes very quickly.  It rained for most of the afternoon and although it's dry now it is still very windy.
