Lyde again (Day 1842)

Yesterday started out beautifully warm and sunny. This morning it seemed as if the monsoon season had arrived. I got drenched taking the woofers out.
I stayed at home doing stuff and things while my beautiful wife went to see the horses and found George to be much more himself, despite the rain.
It dried up as the morning progressed and by lunchtime it was getting sunny again. Another wander with the woofers at Lyde and a sky worthy of a blip.
I had planned to get across to Stromness with HV to see the horses after the woofer wander, but was called out to deal with a problem with a septic tank. I spent a while fishing bits of pipe out of the goop at the bottom of the tank. Which was fairly unpleasant, but the financial reward made it almost worthwhile.
I zoomed home to wash all my clothes and waterproof gear and spend a while in the shower. I was smelling a bit better by the time HV came home from Stromness.
