Day 59 of lockdown
A fun diversion today. I took part in an Instagram podcast with the very talented artist Ian Banu-Cook, aka Popbangcolour. While he draw this fine sketch of the racing Ford Capri that was driven with such sizzling effectiveness in the 1970s by the late great Gerry Marshall, we chatted about my time working at Brands Hatch, in Fleet Street and on old Top Gear. Happy memories of a golden era of motor racing.
