Strawberries

We have found that strawberries do not freeze well for us. Today was spent preserving surplus strawberries as jam and some as strawberry gin. Both will last through the winter; unless consumed before that. As the jam is quite time consuming to make, maybe the next surplus will go to more strawberry gin.
