Triptych of Slate gate posts

Having done a 9 mile run yesterday, we had planned a big walk today, but really didn't have the energy or enthusiasm. So drove just beyond Loweswater to Fangs Brow and did the walk over Holme wood and back along the Lakeshore. Were amazed at the number of cars over there (all Loweswater car parks were as full as I'd seen on the busiest Bank Holiday), but the walk was quiet enough.

I have always loved the traditional Slate gateposts, but thought a triptych was more interesting that a single shot.
