Just passing

I was surprised to see the ticket booth occupied today by a lovely young lady who was happy to chat (in the absence of anyone buying tickets). It was good to get her ‘take’ on public transport , and her thoughts on school opening as mum of a 5 year old. I jogged on home feeling glad I had overcome my usual shyness to say hello.

A busy work day followed but punctuated by a couple of convos with close friends.
