Silly Statue

Julia and I did some work in the garden this morning but it has been raining all afternoon so no walk and no blip.
This is an EB. I was going to do the rather nice pear and almond tart I made for dessert but thought the jockey would be a bit sillier.
As you may know Mr isbi has a pechant for horse racing so our children gave him a second hand statue of a jockey for Christmas. Our daughter in law is in the process of repainting him in our racing colours. He still needs some green circles which will be a bit difficult to do with the creases on his jacket. I’ll blip the the finished result some time.

BTW horse racing in Australia has continued during the pandemic which is really quite amazing when you think about it. They would no doubt have stopped it if anyone had tested positive so a great credit to the industry that it hasn’t happened. No spectators are allowed at race meetings but it has meant thousands of people have been able to keep their jobs and horses their routines.
