Peony
The mighty winds of the last couple of days have not been friendly to the Peonies in the garden.
So this one had to come inside.
The Peony is named after Paeon, a student of Asclepius. In Greek mythology, when Asclepius became jealous of his pupil, Zeus saved Paeon from his teacher’s wrath by turning him into the Peony flower.
