Saturday

The wind is blowing a hooley out there again today, but bright and sunny so I'm not complaining. I secured the plastic watering cans down that were blowing around the garden, everything else looks safe enough.
Received an interesting link from my son for the Hay Festival for Literature and Arts which is being run digitally this year on Crowdcast. I have signed up for a few talks and listened earlier to Maggie O'Farrell, one of my favourite authors..here is the link if anyone is interested.....

Watched the play A Street Car named Desire yesterday, three hours of heavy drama, shouting and arguing, not particularly enjoyable......will be watching the Sound of Music tonight for some lighthearted relief.....

The first lily has opened on the pond, and more to come......hope you are all hanging on to your hats and having a good Saturday :)
