Lunatic Paving

Yep - this is really beyond crazy.
 
Yesterday I re-laid nearly all of this.  I think thrown down would be a better description.
 
The exercise was (is) to lay the slabs down tilted towards each tree so that rain would run off to them.  I think I have got somewhere towards that, but not as neat as I first envisaged.  I was also going to put membrane underneath and up to the trees to keep the weeds (and remaining flowers) down, but that hasn’t happened either.
 
I recon that is silly enough for a Saturday.
