Bees

At last, some rain; the first we have had for several weeks.  Not a lot, but a few short and heavy showers throughout the day will have dampened the ground and filled the water butts.  In between the showers I noticed that my red hot pokers, which are putting on rather a good show this year, were covered in bees.  They were a little camera shy but I rather liked this one.

Another ‘as live’ rugby match this afternoon, this time against London Scottish on New Years Day 2016.  I remember the game well; but what a good job that Bedford seem to have won handsomely each time the Sky cameras were there.  I somehow don’t think the club would be quite so happy to be showing the defeats.
